Lord Krishna was the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu and in the Mahabharata, he revealed his true form as Vishnu only twice.
It’s believed that during the reveal, Krishna expanded from his human appearance to display all of Vishnu’s avatars and all species of life. The “Vishva Rupa” also known as the “Universal Form” concluded that He was the supreme God and everything in the universe expanded from Him.
